1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, phone or tablet). Other technologies, such as the browser’s local or session storage, work in a similar way. In this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
2. Who uses cookies
The website castledigital.eu is operated by Castle Digital s. r. o., Bočná 4702/46, 940 02 Nové Zámky, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO): 53120752, email: contact@castledigital.eu.
3. Your consent
In accordance with Section 109(8) of the Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications and the EU ePrivacy rules, we only store strictly necessary cookies on your device without your consent — those needed for the website to work. All other cookies (analytics) are stored only after you give your consent in the cookie banner.
In the banner you can accept all cookies, reject all cookies or choose individual categories. Rejecting cookies does not limit your access to the website’s content. We store your choice in the cookieyes-consent cookie for 1 year.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of the page, or here: Change cookie settings.
4. Cookies we use

Advertising cookies
We currently do not use advertising cookies. If we start using them (for example to measure advertising campaigns), we will update this list and ask for your consent first.
Functional cookies
These allow us to display third-party content — specifically the Google Maps map on the Contact page. The map only loads after you allow the “Functional” category (or click “Accept All”), or after you click the “Show map” button. Until then, a placeholder is shown instead and no data is sent to Google. Once the map loads, Google may store its own cookies, which are governed by Google’s privacy policy.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| NID and other Google cookies | google.com (Google Maps) | Displaying the map and saving user settings | Up to 6 months |
5. Deleting cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Security). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent some parts of the website from working properly.
6. More information
You can find information on how we process personal data and about your rights in our Privacy Policy.
